DEFAULTS_VERSIONS+=3Dssl=3Dopenssl is supported (e.g., as a workaround for =
bug
231931), works fine here (see https://ptpb.pw/NFXw) but not tested by the
package cluster. What is not supported (and never was) are partial upgrades=
: an
overloaded term used when the ports tree or the packages built are in an
inconsistent state.

In short, if you need handholding use poudriere. A lot (if not majority) of
issues reported by portmaster users are pilot errors.
