Hi all,

I just Upgraded my FreeBSD-4.8 to FreeBSD-5.0

#buildworld
#buildkernel KERNCONF=GENERIC
#installkernel KERNCONF=GENERIC

all ran fine ... but when I rebooted the computer I got this error message

Mounting root from ufs:/dev/ad2s2a
Pid 43 (sh), uid 0: exited on signal 8
Oct 1 01:07:20: init: /bin/sh on /etc/rc
Terminated abnormally. going to single user mode, enter full pathname of
shell or RETURN for /bin/sh:

RETURN gives the same error message .
any help would be apreciated

thanx

Didier
