I've had two slow to connect ftp servers at my office running Freebsd 4.1, =
and 4.2 for a couple months.  I thought the trouble was in DNS.  I'm =
running inetd, and had no error messages.  Putting the -4 option on ftp in =
inetd.conf solved it.
