libdisk is still doing things in the wrong order (or not at all) to get 
the first-stage bootstrap onto the disk; the equivalent of "dislabel -B 
..." isn't getting done.

This should be fixed with Paul's change to the way the block cache 
works.

There are no slices on an SRM-bootable disk; the disk has to be 
completely dedicated (not DD).  This might be because they've changed 
something in the disklabel so that libdisk doesn't like it.

8)  The problem is, as previously noted, a red/blue swap that needs to
be compensated for in syscons.  Kazu should be able to take care of
this.  Can you check that the boxes on the desk inside my office have 
gotten to Sharon and thus sent off?
