peter 2000/07/12 19:00:57 PDT Modified files: (Branch: RELENG_4) sys/i386/i386 swtch.s Log: MFC [1.92] Critical non-SMP fix. Without this, a context switch happens for *every* syscall, slowing down syscalls a lot. (eg: 1.6 million getpid() calls per second drops to 400K calls/sec) Matt forgot this when he MFC'ed the SMP changes to RELENG_4. Without this, AST_RESCHED is an undefined symbol in /kernel. It is particularly interesting that gas/ld do not notice it.
