Robert,

If I'm not mistaken, you can define the Maildir in the pine
setup, i. e. "S", then "C" from the mail pine menu. Or you can
edit ~/.pinerc or the general config file directly. It's well
documented.

For good pine support try the newsgroup "comp.mail.pine". There
are competent people answering queries there, e. g. Mr. Eduardo
Chappas.
