IŽm searching a good book about unix containing the
following subjects :
- explaining unix
- what happens when unix starts
(booting and the files containing the configuration)
- how to edit the startup scripts
- about what I have to take care when I like to update a
  program (like apache or bash)
- where do I have to place files (as new programs)
- the files directories and what they contain
- about starting and stopping prozesses
- knowings about the kernel
- the general building of the unix system
- what when I like to delete software on an unix system
- general : the inside of unix systems
- etc. .

IŽd enjoy when youŽd give me a few good advices .
The main problem for me is :
- when I like to update software (like apache or bash) - that means that
the older software is already running :
must I first stop the prozess / is the new software searching and
finding the old one and automatic replace the old one /
must I choose the location for the new software / about what I have to
take care in this subject .
- what are the main starting scripts and how I have to edit it for
adding a prozess to start on boot-time
(like mSQL : /usr/local/Hughes/bin/msql2d& ) ... or that the prompt is
automatic chance to a spezial dir after login .

- about what I have to take care with installing apache and php/fi ?

Thank you for your support .
