thanks for the information, it is true and it helped.  as i'm normally not
willing to wait for a two (and over) hour build to complete, i had thought of
using "portinstall -R ..." on www/firefox, but discarded it.  if it weren't
for the "xinit ... - /x/bin/Xvfb :1001" bug mentioned in PR=73340, the build
would have completed without any problems (i still have to try the workaround
mentioned there).
