Side note. . .

FYI:

I've been deliberately gathering evidence about
the failures. So for now I'm not disabling tcache
in general.

The sh jemalloc asserts that I separately reported
in 217138  are not tied to tcache as far as I can
tell. That is one of the reasons that I split the
reports.
