I have found some of my questions answered and some not. It's
very nice when you get an answer but I found the toughest stuff for
me (configuring the system) often went unanswered and forced me
to read more carefully and investigate what was on the machine
more fully. It seems to me there are many ways of accomplishing
many of the tasks that come up and in the end I benefited from not
having easy answers at times. I'll occasionally respond to
someones posting because it sounds familiar and I know it's
frustrating getting no answer and frustrating being new at freebsd
(worth the effort though). I got the best answers when
understanding my problem better - and thanks to all of you by the
way - and to all maintaining websites and writing books etc.

 I'm puzzled......

in other mail lists and havent come across this situation before. I am
committed to learning UNIX and plan to stick with FreeBSD - I hope I can
 help others in time.
