This makes something else bubble up (feel free to redirect me somewhere else - into an archive? - in case this has been discussed to death before). What was the intension to move the "exit" item in the selection menus from bottom to the top sometime between the 3.x and the 4.x transition (that's when I noticed it). Formerly one was supposed to walk through the options "on the way to leaving" the menu. I considered this a Good Idea(TM). Now one can leave menus without bothering what was the decision one was to make in this very moment. Plus: Those of us taking the course through the menu have to wade back to the top for leaving the menu. This might have been a positive change for those who don't like customizing (or those overwhelmed when asked for a decision since they don't have any imagination of their needs and just want to state "you do it for me, please!"). I consider this a negative change for those who want to take action in the menus. And even some of the other group just don't know better (yet) and would recognize the advantage of being forced to have a look over the menu on their way down towards the exit item? virtually yours 82D1 9B9C 01DC 4FB4 D7B4 61BE 3F49 4F77 72DE DA76 Gerhard Sittig true | mail -s "get gpg key" Gerhard.Sittig@gmx.net -- If you don't understand or are scared by any of the above ask your parents or an adult to help you.
