this didn't seem to cause me any problems, but I thought I'd mention it anyway, since I didn't find anything that looked similar in the list archives, at the sources.zabbadoz.net LOR list, or with a quick google. happened with 8.0-BETA4/amd64 from around 0200 UTC Sep 10, GENERIC kernel.
