This .xinitrc runs two xterms (note & at the end of lines) and finally
win.manager qvwm - should be the last line.

xterm -s -sl 256 -sb -ls -j -rw -geometry 80x30 &
# xterm -s -sl 256 -sb -ls -j -rw -geometry 80x30-0+0 &
xterm -fn -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--12-* -geometry 80x50 &
# ddd -fn -adobe-courier-medium-r-normal--12-* -geometry 800x600 & 
ddd -geometry 800x600
# xearth &
# emacs -name "Emacs"  -geometry 100x55-0+0 -font 8x16&
# xbiff -geometry +450-0 -fg green -bg black&
# fvwm2
qvwm
