As to having to purchase BRU, I'm not sure how our engineer pulled it off
(he's on vacation this week) but we apparently are using BRU PE from a
Linux RedHat installation CD to backup both machines (RedHat and
FreeBSD).

The link above will take you to the BRU Web site.  This link specifically
takes you to their "these are the systems we have versions for" page.

Sorry for any confusion; I thought BRU came with the ports collection.
