VMWare has some hooks into the linux kernel. The linux emu won't handle that. The best thing to do is e-mail VMWare and show them your interest. If they get enough email about it they will make a version for FreeBSD. -Chris -----Original Message----- From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG [mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of Steve Morrow Sent: Wednesday, June 30, 1999 11:42 PM To: questions@FreeBSD.ORG Subject: VMWare Hey, I just saw pretty cool app, even if it is kinda expensive, VMWare. I was wondering if anybody out there has gotten it to compile on FreeBSD. FreeBSD isn't a supported platform for it, Linux is however. I'm gonna give it a shot anyway and see what happens.
