you had installed slice/part by sysinstall, so
1- by default b partitions are dedicated to swap part.
2- you haven't a swap partition in ad0s1
3- /var/run/dmesg.boot won't show you any infos about swap

4- type following command for getting infos about swap parts:
% swapinfo
--
