Most of the time there is.
The CDROM should be connected to one of the "standard" EIDE interfaces 
(*not* to a sound card like the SB16).
It seems to be best to try it as the slave on the primary controller 
(this of course assumes you have a disk to act as master).
It may also be possible to get it to work as the master on the secondary 
controller.
Also, make sure there is a CD in it when you boot. I think the 
installation program might cares about that.
