Now portmaster was not installed, installed it # cd /usr/ports/ports-mgmt/ # make install clean now I am running /usr/local/sbin/portmaster -L --index-only | egrep 'total install|versions|New version' and see the packages that need updating, but to update I am running: # portmaster -na > /tmp/portorder.txt and will get back after this is done to see how to proceed.
