To lookup users/groups in Samba, do you suggest winbindd or something else? I experimented with winbindd several years ago, tried to avoid adding local users for Windows Domain users on a samba file server. I found winbindd unusable for production at the time, it crashed all the time. Had to return to creating local users with "add user script". Do you speak from experience? --=20 Victor Sudakov, VAS4-RIPE, VAS47-RIPN 2:5005/49@fidonet http://vas.tomsk.ru/ --uZ3hkaAS1mZxFaxD Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJebGbTAAoJEA2k8lmbXsY010sH/3My0yNAvswNi7u3wDwiYnyw 8kz5mut/OwcNDup9xeD3f9HWZNXkSftYjd6MObSBP3406cAGv6wv8hiZzh4wpsup XknOPT6KDvl4Gqctx74rBJAUWPRIWHixktHqej2FsteC1Bv6s3Y3s4TcwwcOJQV0 uno2RmGw4K2XKoeFDAHMNN2FrtF8TDTrZFmYo8l3JLZI8krZmme5vYN1lxyQgzEF mepbxDc48gRkovfxH2tp2JP88rQQKn1rEQFliRCaMkZbHVHx14i+HJ1J66PZG88Q /0mteYful5LBssVQS+Nnl1YGf8rcaPFC8QYWG9P7HpVYgZrxAJNJeHo8a+oMGdw= =ZE2T -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --uZ3hkaAS1mZxFaxD--
