FreeBSD Question Answers- I have a atatpi cdrom, and need to know how to mount it. Here is what the screen says upon boot up: wdc0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7 irq14 on isa wdc0: unit 0 (wd0): <Fujitsu M1636TAU> wd0: 1225MB (2509920sectors), 2490cyls, 16 heads, 63 S/T, 512 B/S wdc0: unit 1 (atapi): <TOSHIBA CD-ROM XM-5302TA/1095>, removable, intr, iordy I tried mount /cdrom , didn't work tried mount /dev/atapi /cdrom ,didn't work tried mount /dev/wd1 /cdrom ,didn't work tried mount_cd9660 /cdrom ,didn't work If you know how please tell! Next Question: How do I change the pre-login message? Someone told me to look in gettytab, but i couldn't figure it out.
