I have a serial cable that I use with a communications program
(hyperterminal) to communicate with my freebsd server when doing stuff when
tcp is down, etc.
Where do I look to have my server use that cable in place of the monitor.
Will this method of using the server allow me to view boot up messages and
manage the server without having a monitor hooked up?
Thanks
