It appears that CDE is a strictly commercial package, so I won't be using that. How hard is it to _uninstall_ window managers and desktops? Confronted with bewildering choices, I have Xfce downloading now; it looked clean in the screen shots and apparently it doesn't require many resources. KDE looks awfully heavy and adolescent and I don't know that I'm interested in something that tries so hard to be like Windows. -- Anthony
