This is written as though it applies to FreeBSD, but I was under the impression that FreeBSD didn't do anything with /etc/issue. There isn't any man page for it, and when I created a file /etc/issue it wasn't presented at login. Is there something else I need to do? I am using 9.1 Daniel Feenberg
