Hello, sure hope this is the appropriate mailing list, if not please point me in the right direction. Here goes, someone just put a DEC PC XL 566 on my desk and said:"Install FreeBSD on this". So that's what I tried to do... I tried to install version 2.0-RELEASE and everytime it tries to write something on the disk, it spits out and error message about a cp assertion failed cp -> header.cp in ../../pci/ncr.c at line XXXX. What does that mean? Can I fix it? Please help. Patrick P.S. Please reply directly to me as I am not subscribed to this mailing list. Thank you.
