Hi John, Since a few days ago, the character encoding has been specified incorrectly in the HTML versions of Japanese Handbook and FAQ and lots of people are claiming. For example, the headers of current <URL:http://www.FreeBSD.ORG/ja_JP.EUC/handbook/index.html> are: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">. The correct headers should be: <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN"> <HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=EUC-JP">. I don't know why this problem occurred but I've fixed the makefiles and if you re-built the Japanese Handbook and FAQ, the problem will be solved. Could you please do ASAP?
