There is already a tremendous amount of QA work being done, every day, to
improve the ports collection.

To get some idea, see the latter part of http://www.freebsd.org/portmgr/qa.html;
http://pointyhat.freebsd.org and the pages it leads to; the summary page on
http://portsmon.freebsd.org/portsoverall.py, and all of its other reports (e.g.:,
http://portsmon.freebsd.org/portsconcordanceforbuildenv.py?buildenv=amd64&buildenv2=i386,
which is highly over-inflated right now due to a run of "try to build
things on amd64 that are marked not-for-amd64 anyways); and various
email sent from Ion-Mihai Tetcu on a daily basis as he does incremental
builds (the former builds are bulk builds).
