>You're not using a unlisted shell, are you? Make sure it's in >/etc/shells. It's /bin/csh and listed in /etc/shells >Check the system log for why the login failed. It really gives no information other than: command: USER user102^M <--- 331 Password required for user102. command: PASS password^M <--- 530 Login incorrect. I downloaded the ProFTPD package from ftp.freebsd.org and installed it, and that works fine. I can login into the same user account without any errors. Do I need to recompile the wu-ftp server since I performed an upgrade?
