Well then, if it's more trouble than it's worth to hack the code to operate
otherwise, perhaps a short blurb in INSTALL.TXT or one of the / .TXT files
would be appropriate??

Or, are you saying that even though you're "used to" the behavior, that it
could be "correct" and made to try and open the CD device at the CD-ROM
media menu (instead of using old cached information)?

Is the process for rolling your own MFSROOT floppy documented anywhere (should
somebody want to tinker with the code and put an updated /stand/sysinstall
on the disk)?
