First, check SCSI IDs.  They should be different numbers (e.g. 1 and
2).

Second, check the cabling and termination.  There should be a
terminator at the beginning of the chain (usually provided by the SCSI 
card) and one at the end of the chain.  Some disks can provide
termination, others require external terminators.
