I'll try to get more info on that from IBM... I've been running the ata driver for about a week now. Yesterday, for the first time, I got the messages posted below, and now again this morning. Note the fallback to PIO. Also note that Dec 15 is exactly 1 week from the first time I ran with the ATA drivers, thought there have been several reboots in the interim. The times are CST (-600). The machine's time is synched using ntp.
