[snip]

I have since tried installing the 7.1 BETA on a system with the same CPU
(a Phenom 8650 X3) and a different motherboard that I have had success
running 7.1-PRELEASE on (the system I'm typing this message on, though
it has a Phenom 9850 X4) and it still hangs at appx the same point
(after enabling the second & third processors). Is there anyone else out
there having problems with this CPU on 7.1?

Bob
