I read that Adaptec and FreeBSD support the Adaptec 2100S RAID card, but was curious as to what kind of support there was. I know that you used to not be able to boot off of some of the RAID cards, is that the case with this one? Also, is there any software level support for things like utilities to get health info on the RAID, rebuild, warnings when a drive goes down, etc... Thanks!
