Tried -questions yesterday, sorry for the urgency, but I get this going
by friday or give up for now :(

I am trying to use the PCMCIA slots on a Viglen P120 notebook running
3.1R - I have attached the dmesg.boot for your information. After boot,
further relevant messages are as follows:

kernel pcic module loaded.
pccardc: /dev/card0: Device not configured

I have built a custom kernel with ze and zp removed and the three pccard
lines uncommented: controller card0, and two pcic devices.

I have enabled APM and PCCARD in rc.conf. I have copied
pccard.conf.sample to pccard.conf, and even tried it with fewer IRQs.

I get the same state irrespective of whether there are cards in the slot
or not. Is pccardd supposed to run all the time, it simply exits with no
error messages (with or without the -d option).

Confused. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks,
Richard.
