As far as I'm aware, 'make release' is all there is. And that doesn't
upgrade /stand, but creates the appropriate files elsewhere for you to
copy in as appropriate (ICBW).

A quick grovel through /usr/src/release/Makefile should indicate the
scale of the task at hand.
