mptable output for Tyan Tomcat II
<URL:http://www.freebsd.org/~fsmp/SMP/mptable/t2>; shows that IO APIC
pin 0 is configured for ExtInt. 

But the mptable output also shows that this is a Dual Pentium motherboard.

Please try a kernel with the NO_F00F_HACK option.  f00f_hack() is
broken, since it causes further calls to setidt() to have very little
effect.
