It's X. X.orgs X11R6.7 should have > support for the FX cards. Not sure about XFree. You could try the x11-servers/XFree86-4-Server-snap port (a snapshot from late in the 4.4 development cycle). I have no idea about nVidia FX support, but it works great for my ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. Jon Noack
