No.

Telling you more than I know: FreeBSD.org is moving (or has moved) from =
CVS to SVN. Is my guess that what we are seeing is an artifact of that =
move where data is hacked into cvs compatible format and all cvsup can =
do is pull down the entire file.

I would be happy to use svn as I do for my own projects.
