I just want someone to confirm > my suspicions. The way I handle this is to ask the question: "Does it work OK in the current setting?" If yes, then I don't touch it. :) FreeBSD uses it's own driver anyway and completely ignores that setting. Only the boot blocks use it, for a very short time.
