That list looks to me like a perfectly normal list for a self employed
software / web developer / casual gamer (for example). I'm using at least
that many programs too.

Remember that you cannot always choose between Photoshop or another shitty
program. Sometimes customers deliver graphics, logo's made with some obscure
program and expect you to handle it well.
