I'm  afraid  so.  A  while ago I    was checking our   encrypted telnet and
SRA-telnet and  never     got any of  them    to  encrypt  (I  don't   have
Kerberos). There is a patch for  SRA-telnet to do encrypt  without K4 but I
was unable to encrypt...
