I can not try this FBSD release. It is a server in production and I can =
not
reinstall it. I have to find the solution with the 5.2 FreeBSD version.

Have you tried the SVN version of the new USB stack with FreeBSD 6.2=20
installed?

PS: The new USB stack does not support FreeBSD 5.2 any more.
