I wrote a FreeBSD version of that function about a month ago and I was about 
90% done when I got sidetracked with other things. I had the proxy up and 
running between netmeeting on two win2000 machines.

If you know how to get routing data out from the kernel via sysctl you can 
take over the code I wrote and clean it up so it can be comitted.
