Salut Matthieu,

Well, no, not if you do have a problem with the RAM in the system. If it's
an older machine, try reseating the DIMM -- take it out and put it back
in. Sometimes this helps remove oxidisation on connectors.

Otherwise, you could try this
utility: http://www.aha.ru/~alegr/download/memtest_en.htm to test your
RAM.
