Hello, I'm thinking about getting an 8gb disk and I've got a bit of free time on my hands right now so I figured I'd start toying around with the actual file systems geometry. The disk will be dedicated solely to bsd with 48megs of actual memory. How does something like this look? / = 100mb <swap> = 184mb /usr = rest of the disk.... /var = create a link pointing to /usr/var /tmp = create a link poing to /usr/tmp I've always pretty much gone with the defaults for disk labeling yet this method seems a bit more realistic.
