Ah.  What version of FreeBSD are you running? (See, this information
is useful :-)   It's probably called /etc/sysconfig.

No.

It comes with the system, starting with 2.2.2 (I think).  Before that
it was /etc/sysconfig.  Take whatever you have.

Another thing you need to check is that you *don't* have an
/etc/resolv.conf.  If you do, rename it.
