Yes, I'd agree that this is too high.  I've found that older AMD
processors stop functioning reliably at this temperature, and at about
62° they stop functioning at all.  The XP series do seem to run pretty
hot, though.  I'm running a 1700+ XP here, using -CURRENT, and it runs
at about 48° CPU and 38 motherboard.  By comparison, a K7 running
-STABLE runs at about 31° CPU and 37° MB.
