This is a flag for the SCSI subsystem that makes it a bit more robust at
the cost of performance.  I suggest commenting it out.

> options USERCONFIG
> options VISUAL_USERCONFIG

Controls whether the -c boot-time configuration is built into the kernel.
You can knock it out if you need to save space.  VISUAL_USERCONFIG
controls the visual interface component (`visual' from the config> command
line).
