I think the best aproach is prepare a FreeBSD booting USB key, let the
device boot, capture /var/log/messages (i.e. have syslogd enabled in the
boot key) and in addition run on command line:

# pciconf -lv > pci.out
# Xorg -configure

and save the files /var/log/Xorg.0.log and xorg.conf.new; go home and
investigate the output and the chipsets re/ if they are supported in
FreeBSD.

If the dealer is unwilling to allow it, go to another one.
