Aha, finally somebody cites the CORRECT patch!  In all the PRs and
mail snippets referenced so far, the exact diff given between
revisions 1.73 and 1.74 of uipc_socket.c was NOT given by itself but
rather Gerhard has been referencing code (and citing it) that WAS
merged.  Now that we've cleared that up, it's been fixed.
