The problem is the font.  If you want to use BitchX under X you can
complie gtkBitchX (info at www.bitchx.org).  Again, you still get the
same results.  The prolbem is the font.  I have yet to find the proper
font or someone that knows where to get it.  I have gotten it to work
under RedHat and Debian Linux.
